(ePrintWire.Org) – Jacksonville, Fla. -- Clements Publishing Company, publisher of the Northeast Florida Education Guide, recently awarded five public and private school students’ scholarships and prizes sponsored by Regions Bank. The students won by entering this year's front cover art contest entitled, "What is the favorite thing about your school."
Grand prizewinner was Yanis Cicneros a middle school student at Kernan Middle School. She was awarded a $2,000 scholarship from Regions Bank and will also be featured on the front cover of the 2009-10 Northeast Florida Education Guide, being published this August.
Two other first place winners, Julia Rogers of Episcopal High School and Shaunee Gaskins of Arlington Heights Elementary School, each were rewarded a $1,000 college scholarship from Regions Bank.
Two runner-ups, Heather Pittman and Caitlin Dempsey of Episcopal High, each received a green bike from Regions Bank.
Regions Bank and the Northeast Florida Education Guide are teaming up again this fall to launch the second annual Front Cover Art Contest for the 2010-11 Edition.
