About the Author

Born and reared in a mostly dysfunctional family during the Great Depression, C. L. (Larry), as a child, did not know the Lord. At about the age of ten, he joined a local denominational church, believing that, when he died, he would go to heaven for simply joining that church. Later He was led to the Lord in a different church, which he joined and in which he finished growing up. It was years later that he found out that, even though it was the church in which he met the Savior, he had been taught many things that were biblically incorrect. Even more years later, this book came forth decrying the many non-biblical things taught and practiced in most churches.
