Express KCS, the leading outsourcing supplier to the media and design industry, now produces web-ready content for CityAM, a free newspaper distributed in London’s financial district.

The Delhi-based studio teams take the newspaper’s QuarkXPress editorial pages as the paper goes to press and uploads all content into website templates. This ensures that CityAM’s website and print edition are available simultaneously.

For its target audience in the City of London’s business and finance district, fast access to news and insight is crucial.

For CityAM’s Editor, Allister Heath, it has meant that his staff can concentrate on producing the best content, and extending their reach. “If we had to employ a separate night production team just to upload text, it would be taking resources away from the journalism, which is where we truly add value,” he said.
