(ePrintWire.Org) – Colleen Collins is pleased to announce she'll be the newsletter editor for the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado (PPIAC). Founded in 1978, PPIAC offers education, networking, and a critical forum for exchanging opinions and ideas for the betterment of the private investigation profession.

Ms. Collins graduated with honors from the University of California Santa Barbara. Her background includes graduate work in telecommunications (Golden Gate University) in conjunction with her work as Telecommunications Manager for the AI (Artificial Intelligence) Lab at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California. She's worked as documentation manager and technical editor at various Colorado companies, communications manager for the IT division at Qwest, managing editor for the Boulder County AIDS Project newsletter, and has written articles about the investigative field for PI Magazine, Pursuit Magazine and other publications. In 2004, she co-founded Highlands Investigations & Legal Services, Inc. in Denver, Colorado, which specializes in legal investigations, personal injury, background investigations and financial fraud.
