(ePrintWire.Org) – Since Adobe created the Portable Document Format, the quest for a rich and informational document format has been answered. Not only texts, people can add presentational graphics with beautiful layout composition which makes their documents more eye-friendly. PDF enhance the document formatting so people should not worry to have their files to be font-missed when opened on another computer.

Another big thing about this PDF file is its small bytes that enable people to share them over the internet without worrying about huge bandwidth consumption. As the internet become more accessible to more people around the world, the need of sharing information through the internet also grows bigger.

People who have a blog or website can easily upload their PDF files into their web server and then put a link to the file, showing where other people could download it. Other people share their documents via e-mail, but the last method seemed not quite sufficient to organize PDF collection they want to share.

Answering this sharing needs, Doocu.com developed into a useful web apps which help people organize and share their PDF documents online. Backed with Amazon EC2 and S3 server, Doocu is ready with its reliable service and rock solid infrastructure.

Doocu is a free PDF sharing website with excellent features. The auto-convert feature allows users upload their documents in other formats than PDF like Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, or image. The file then automatically converted into PDF as they uploaded into a user’s collection.

Once the files uploaded, organizing them is another simple feature. Users can create a group, or submit their PDF to a certain existing group. If users upload a file and don’t want it to be accessed by another user, he can instantly put the corresponding file into a private state. That means, the uploader is the only person who can access the PDF file.

Through the built-in PDF reader, users can browse other user’s collection (which is set to “public”) and read it directly on the browser rather than download it.

Doocu.com is currently in alpha version, which mean there are more features need to be added. Sign up and try the Doocu’s feature now, go to http://www.doocu.com/
