Email Friend Contact Author (ePrintWire.Org) – With hundreds of copies of the fresh-off-the-presses Omega Comics Presents #1 in tow, Pj Perez is bringing some Las Vegas publishing flavor to Seattle on March 13 and 14, as Pop! Goes the Icon makes its debut appearance at Emerald City ComiCon.
Now in its eighth year, ECCC is the Pacific Northwest's premier comic book and pop culture convention. Taking over the Washington State Convention Center for two days, this year's event features hundreds of exhibitors, programs and guests (including industry giants such as Stan Lee, Joe Quesada and Geoff Johns) and much more. Omega Comics Presents, the first issue of PGTI's new quarterly anthology series, features a variety of stories from talents such as Alex De-Gruchy, John Dimes, Dino Caruso, Robert Durham and Jason Copland. Ain't It Cool News says the debut issue reads "like those cool comics of old." Slated for summer release, the second issue will feature new stories from Perez, Russell Lissau, mpMann, Glenn Arseneau, Andy Gray and more. PGTI will be at ECCC Artist Alley table M-12 both days of the convention. In addition to comics and prints for sale, limited-edition buttons and postcards will be available for free, and PGTI contributors will be making guest appearances throughout the weekend. # # #
