(ePrintWire.Org) – Outskirts Press, Inc. has published With the Joy in My Heart, I Will Rejoice: The Joy of the
Lord is My Strength by David Malberg. This is the author's most recent book to date and is a 7 x 10 paperback in the music category. Malberg’s book is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/withthejoyinmyheart was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.

The songs in this book came from the desire that began in July 2008 to express a sincere faith and trust in the Lord. Malberg had already been involved in music for 55 years in various venues, and he believes that he receives insight concerning composition and lyrics in music.

Malberg had some extreme health issues last year, but the creation of songs for
the piano and organ brought joy into his heart and his life. Also, in February 2009, he began drawing sketches of scenes and oil paintings at Lake Saxon, in central Florida, where he resides with his wife, Holly. They have two children, who are employed in education; they also have three lovely grandchildren.

81 pages in length, With the Joy in my Heart, I Will Rejoice:
The Joy of the Lord is my Strength is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the music category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker &
Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, With the Joy in my Heart, I Will Rejoice meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $12.95.

About the Author:

David Malberg was born in September, 1947 in Battle Creek, Michigan. His
father was an itinerant preacher and his mother played the accordion and was a church soloist. In the process of time, as David’s siblings were born, the family performed Christian music on the radio (in the mid-fifties). David was eight years old at that time. A year earlier, he had become converted.

David graduated from Shortridge High School, a college prep school, in Indianapolis, Indiana in June, 1966. That fall, he enrolled at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Malberg majored in Psychology and Spanish, after having taken four years of French in high school.

The young university student became a member of Metropolitan Methodist church, where he was trained in the choir by a P.H.D. organist and musician. This was when David became interested in organ music and he purchased a chord organ. He sang baritone in the choir and took piano and music courses at the university.

Mr. Malberg came to Tampa, Florida in the fall of 1970, where he trained as a song leader for the church and later became Music Director at Marantha Chapel. He resigned in the summer of 2000, but became the Treasurer at the church.

David received his BA in December, 1971, before working as a banker
for twenty years. After a terrible auto accident in 1992, Mr. Malberg
began a career in teaching. He earned teaching (graduate) certificates in
Spanish, French and ESL at USF from 1994 to 1999. Mr. Malberg taught in
Winter Haven, Lakeland, and Tampa, Florida, and Belvedere, Illinois. Mr. Malberg retired in June, 2004, after an operation left him disabled.
