A teen writer for the Corner Pocket writing workshop will interview singer/song writer Laura Izibor at 2 pm in the Missouri History Museum Race exhibit on March 14th, hours before the singer’s Sunday night concert at 560 Music Center. Urban Artist Alliance for Child Development (UAACD) and Missouri History Museum will select a teen to have a one-on-one talk with Izibor about race and growing up in Dublin, Ireland as the child of an Irish mother and a Nigerian father. The interview will be taped and posted to mohistory.org and cornerpocketmag.com. The UAACD will have a fundraiser on April 3rd in an effort to help sustain the program. # # #
